“Matteo Sacilotto graduated in jazz guitar at the Superior Conservatory of Liceo in Barcelona under the guidance of maestros Dave Mitchell and Jordi Bonell, and later perfected his skills at the Tartini Conservatory in Trieste with Riccardo Chiarion.
His first LP, titled "Tribute to Nino Rota," was released in 2010 by the R3cords label, receiving positive reviews from magazines such as "Jaç," "Axe Magazine," and specialized websites like "All About Jazz Italia," "Jazzitalia," and "Anima Jazz."
He then released "The Condal Town Quartet" (2019) and "Sonic Matters" (2021).
He has performed at festivals such as Udine Jazz (Udine, Italy), Flix Jazz (Flix), Borghi Swing (Marano, Italy), Rototom SunSplash (Italy), Once Upon a Time Jazz (Pordenone, Italy), L'hora del Jazz (Barcelona), Jazz Marató (Barcelona), Festival 21 Grados (Seville), Thelonious Monk (Trieste, Italy), and clubs such as Jamboree, Bel Luna Jazz Club, JazzSi, Teatre dels Lluïsos, Circul Maldà (Barcelona), Teatro Giovanni da Udine (Udine, Italy), CCCB (Barcelona), Espacio de Cultura Caja de Madrid (Madrid and Barcelona).”
