"Shunsuke started playing the guitar at the age of 13, influenced by his father, who was also a musician. He began with Japanese folk acoustic music and later became a self-taught player in rock, jazz, and flamenco. During his university years, he began working as a jazz musician in Tokyo, playing an average of fifteen concerts per month. He started as a flamenco guitarist and also participated as a musical supporter for the flamenco dance group "Puerta del Sol." On average, he played about thirty concerts per year. He participated in a concert with about a thousand people, alongside Chiemi Hanabaru, Maria Jose Martin, Miguel de Badajoz, and Katsuhiko Katagiri.
Shunsuke is also a teacher. He taught guitar and music theory at the "Music Tech Studio" in Japan. In Italy, he completed both the bachelor's and master's programs in jazz guitar at the G. Tartini Conservatory in Trieste in 2023. He now teaches guitar, music theory, and sight-reading at the "International Music School Trieste" and "AGM Cervignano." He also plays jazz with his projects. Currently, he is involved in the following projects: Trio with Jacopo Zanette and Simone Serafini, Quintet with Giorgio Giacobbi, Camilla Collet, Eleonora Lana, and Paolo Jus, Toryanse Quartet with Giorgio Giacobbi, Camilla Collet, and Giovanni Gregoretti, Duo “Kagurane” with Mitsugu Harada, Solo Works, Duo with Yusuke Yanagita, Duo with Eleonora Lana, 5tet with Eleonora Lana, Giorgio Giacobbi, Camilla Collet, and Paolo Jus, Room 2N with Gabriele De Leporini, Paolo Jus, and Francesco Vattovaz, Voce che cammina with Alessia Trevisiol, Francesco De Luisa, Paolo Jus, and Francesco Vattovaz."
